We have been asking for a new clothes dryer now for a couple of years.
The problem? There is very limited airflow through the dryer. And with no airflow, the clothes don’t dry. Air passes through only a tiny corner of the lint filter (see photo) as the airways in the dryer are completely clogged up. This means that most of the lint actually stays in the drum of the dryer and we have to hand clean the lint out of the drum by hand at the end of every cycle. But the most important thing to understand is that it takes about three hours now to dry a batch of clothes!
